Description:

I had this truck listed last week..but screwed up the ad..said that it was a "no reserve" sale..but had a reserve listed in the ad..so I'm doing it over. This is my own truck..I've been using it for about five years..and it's never failed me. If I wasn 't nearing 70 and my wife would let me...I'd keep on hauling with this sweetheart. I don't know what you might know about the International DT360 engine..but it's a brute. It was the predecessor to the DT 466..and I think it's a better engine. It doesn't develop a lot of horsepower..but it's a fuel miser and pulls like a bull. I've never had the engine apart..and it uses no oil between changes. My only complaint about International trucks is their dash electrical system..and after replacing the dash module three times..I got fed up and installed separate independent gauges..and replaced the entire module with mechanical gauging. I like it better..but it's not as pretty. I don't use the sleeper as much as I once did..just use it for hauling cargo..but it is a really nice easy to use unit. The transmission is a 6 speed with a hole gear, power steering,  20'6" overall length...equipped with a steel plate flat bed 8' wide..8'8" long  (truck is 7' 6" tall)  and equipped with a 2 5/16" ball in a sunken well. It's air ride..but no CDL (GVW 20940) required..great for pulling your travel trailer..or a good light over the road Hot Shot rig. I have driven this truck just about everywhere in America..and some in Canada. I wouldn't be afraid to take off for California from West Virginia tomorrow. It's dependable.

Last year I equipped it with another fuel tank..so it's got the capability of carrying 160 gallons..but I've got a problem with one tank. It's got a check valve in it..and it doesn't let the fuel flow out of the tank. Just need to disconnect the fuel line..and drill out the check valve. The air doesn't work in the truck..seemed to me that I had to charge it every year..and I didn't do it this year. The truck has new brakes on the rear..new real wheel seals..and a new radiator. The speedometer that I installed is out of a Kenworth..and is not hooked up..it needs to be matched with the sender on the transmission..and I found it easier and cheaper to just use a GPS for a speedometer. The mileage is approximately 215,000. CB goes with it..and I have a separate air seat for the passenger seat that is included. The radio works..tires are about 60%...and the air compressor tank has a quick connect for an air hose..so it's easy to keep tire pressure where they should be. I like to use airtools..and the compressor keeps ahead of any air tool I've ever used. Nice for an air jack..or to change tires with an air wrench. I showed a picture of the only body damage..just a crack on the passenger front side fender. The gauges include hour meter, fuel, air pressure, pyrometer, alternator, temperature, oil pressure..and they all work. I've always just pulled trailers with electric brakes..and the truck has a brake electric controller..but I have thought more than one time about  adding air couplers at the back for air brakes. The bed is air ride..brakes are hydraulic..and if you have any other question you can call me, Carl at (304) 947-7981 or write me at carl.p.hill@gmail.com. It's being sold "where is, as is" because it's rolling stock..but feel free to come and try it before bidding. Best of all..it's being sold with no reserve!
